The Fairmont girls hockey team went 1-2 during the Kaposia Classic at Doug Woog Arena in South St. Paul. 

The Cardinals lost to Roseville/​Mahtomedi 3-0 on Friday after beating Elk River/Zimmerman 4-1 on Thursday and losing to River Cities 7-2 on Wednesday. 

The 7-5-2 Fairmont girls return home to play Worthington on Tuesday. 

The Fairmont boys hockey team lost twice over the weekend. The Cardinals lost to Faribault 2-1 at home on Friday. They dropped a 4-2 decision on the road against Morris/Benson Area on Saturday. 

The Fairmont boys are 3-5 overall with a visit to Worthington up next on Tuesday. 

The Windom Area girls hockey team endured a third straight loss on Saturday. 

The Eagles lost 14-0 to Waconia at home. 

The 4-11 Windom girls visit New Prague on Tuesday.
