Bear Kosbab Still Sprinting for Mavericks at State

Bear Kosbab will represent the Martin County West/Butterfield-Odin track and field team at the State Track and Field Meet.
Kosbab sprinted his way to State in the 100 Meters to become the first Mavericks athlete to qualify in the event since 2011.
Mavericks head coach Lee Carlson tells us that Kosbab is talented, competitive, and hard-working while providing leadership that has been instrumental in getting the program going in a positive direction. Coach also says that Alex Schliesmann from Live Fit Sport and Wellness Center helped Bear practice getting out of the blocks while preparing for State.
Kosbab also set a new school record in the 200 Meters this spring.
