All Stars alter their schedule

JACKSON - The All Star Circuit of Champions will not be running at Jackson Motorplex on Friday, July 31.

That had been scheduled to be Kyle Larson Night.

The Richard White Memorial is still scheduled for July 31 at Jackson, with 410 Outlaw Sprints and IMCA 305 Sprints scheduled.

The All Stars will run at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa on July 31 and at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday, Aug. 1.

The All Stars may schedule a show in Jackson on Sunday, Aug. 2.

Midwest Madness Tour

The Midwest Madness Tour was at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer Monday.

It was the third stop in the series. Previous stops were at Harlan, Iowa and Jefferson, S.D.

Jesse Sobbing (Malvern, Iowa) won the Modified feature, with Brandon Beckendorf (Danube) second and Chris Abelson (Sioux City) third. James Slawson (Spirit Lake) was 13th.

Devin Smith (Lake City, Iowa) was the Stock Car winner, with Elijah Zevenbergen (Ocheyedan) second and Jeff Larson (Lakefield) third.

Winning the Sport Mod feature was Cody Thompson (Sioux City). He was followed by Justin Klynsma (Hospers) and Doug Smith (Lake City, Iowa). Dan Paplow (Dundee) finished 11th.

Jason Kohl (Missouri Valley) was the Hobby Stock winner, with Cory Probst (Brewster) second and Brandon Nielsen (Spencer) third.

Jade Lange (Humboldt) was the Sport Compact feature winner, with Kaytee Devries (Spencer) second and Tyler Fiebelkorn (Exira, Iowa) third. Trivette Phillips (Heron Lake) was fourth, Bubba Brown (Jackson) fifth and Jake Schroeder (Heron Lake) sixth.

The Midwest Madness Tour runs at Fairmont Raceway Tuesday, followed by Algona on Wednesday, Stuart, Iowa on Thursday and Denison on Friday.
