Windom woman arrested in Emmet County stop
(Estherville)-- A traffic stop this past Saturday in Emmet county resulted in the arrests of two people on drug charges.
Authorities say a deputy pulled over a vehicle after seeing it go at a high rate of speed north of Graettinger on Highway 4. A subsequent investigation turned up what's alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia, along with an open container of alcohol.
A passenger, 21-year-old Destine Robinson of Windom, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance...marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container. Robinson was booked into the Emmet county jail.
A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of a controlled substance...marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The minor was referred to juvenile court.
The driver of the vehicle was cited for speeding and released.
