Weekend accidents result in injuries

(Worthington, Mn.)-- A single vehicle rollover Sunday evening on Interstate 90 in Nobles county sent two Jackson residents to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 36-year-old Christopher Tusa of Jackson was driving a 2003 Dodge Caravan westbound when he lost control of the vehicle which into the ditch and rolled.

Two passengers, 61-year-old Cynthia Tusa and 71-year-old Mark Tusa, both of Jackson, were taken to the Worthington hospital.

Troopers say the road was snow and ice-covered at the time of the crash, which took place shortly before 7:30 pm.

Worthington Police and Fire and the Nobles County Sheriff's Office assisted on the scene.

 

(Worthington, Mn.)-- Several people from Tennessee were injured Sunday evening in a single vehicle crash on Highway 60 near Brewster in Nobles county.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 54-year-old Boyer Laforge of Clarksville, Tennessee, was driving a 2007 Ford pickup westbound when he lost control of the vehicle on the snow and ice-covered road. It went into the median and rolled.

Several passengers in the vehicle, including 28-year-old Leslee Laforge, 32-year-old Shaylo Laforge and an eight-year-old child, all from Clarksville, Tennessee, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash took place around 6:30 pm.

The Nobles County Sheriff's Office and Brewster Fire and EMS assisted on the scene.

 

A Texas man was injured in a one vehicle accident Saturday morning, just north of Sherburn.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that around 10:45am Saturday, 22 year-old Felix Manani of Arlington, TX was driving a 2007 Hyundai Elantra northbound on Highway 4, when he lost control entered the ditch and rolled.

Manani was taken to a Fairmont Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Sherburn/Welcome Police Department and Sherburn Fire & EMS assisted at the scene.
