Estherville man injured in western MN accident
An Estherville man sustained minor injuries in a two vehicle accident in West Central Minnesota Sunday morning.
According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, shortly after 11am, 59 year-old Curtis Trenary of Estherville was driving a 2007 Buick Rendezvous southbound on Highway 71, and 26 year-old Austin Harrington of Hopkins, MN was driving a 2004 Mercedes Benz E320 westbound on Highway 9, just west of New London.
Harrington had stopped at the intersection, then proceeded and was struck broadside by the Rendezvous.
Trenary, along with two passengers in his vehicle, 73 year-old Sharon Harrington of Rembrandt, IA and 67 year-old Alfred Trenary of Graettinger, IA were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Austin Harrington and a minor passenger in the Trenary vehicle were not injured.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
