City takes over splashpad ownership
The Jackson Splash Pad project continues to move toward reality following last (Monday) night’s Jackson City Council meeting. The council approved an agreement with Vortex, the vendor for the splash pad. This transitions the ownership of the project from the planning committee to the city.
In other action, the City approved the 2020 contract with CEDA for services, joint maintenance facility bid, the bid from Dave Polz for snow removal at City Hall and a resolution designating Good Shepherd Hall as the local polling place for the City of Jackson for 2020.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30pm. Councilman Matt Madden was the only member absent.
The next meeting of the Jackson City Council will be at 6:30pm on Tuesday, November 19th.
