Wolverines remain 7th in 1A ratings

PAYNESVILLE - Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey remains seventh in Class 1A in this week's boys basketball ratings by Minnesota Basketball News.

The Wolverines are 8-1 heading into a Thursday night nonconference game at Sleepy Eye St. Mary's (2-8).

Minneota (12-0) remains first in the 1A poll, with Springfield (9-1) second.

From the Big South Conference, Waseca (11-0) stays third in Class 3A behind DeLaSalle (6-3) and Princeton (10-0).

Minnehaha Academy (8-2) continues to lead Class 2A, with Hopkins (12-1) jumping from third to first in Class 4A.
