Strong second half keys JCC win at Cleveland
CLEVELAND – A big second half gave Jackson County Central a 74-60 win over Cleveland in nonconference girls basketball Tuesday night.
The Clippers led 42-26 at halftime before JCC outscored Cleveland 48-18 in the second half to move its record to 2-1 on the season.
Alaina Wolff led Jackson County Central in scoring with 31 points, with 20 coming in the second half. She made four three-pointers and was 7-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Sadie Voss netted 16 points as she made three treys and was 5-6 from the line.
Lauren Murphy added 10 points and Melissa Brandt nine.
