ILCC women lead tourney after first day

FORT DODGE – The Iowa Lakes Community College women's golf team is in first place after the first round of the 36-hole Iowa Central Invitational. The ILCC men are second, eight strokes off the pace.
Iowa Lakes leads the women's tournament after a first-round 345. NIACC is second at 364.
ILCC's Erin Baum is the individual leader as she carded a first-round 80.
Molly Diekmann is tied for fourth with an 86, Alexia Kemper and Annika DuMoulin are tied for sixth with 89 and Abby Stender is tie for ninth with a 91.
Mount Mercy leads the men's tourney with a 292, with Iowa Lakes second at 300.
Morgan Edwards was low for the Lakers and fourth overall with a 71.
Carlton Rahn is tied for ninth with a 75, Trace Jacobsen tied for 14th at 76 and Cameron Maxwell tied for 27th with a 78.
The final round is Monday.
