Huskies to face Arrows in 3AA South semis
WINDOM - Jackson County Central will face Pipestone in the semifinals of the Section 3AA South Sub-Section boys basketball tournament at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Windom Area High School.

The second-seeded Huskies opened the tournament with a 72-66 win over seventh-seeded Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Saturday, while the third-seeded Arrows topped sixth-seeded Luverne 55-44.
The teams split their regular-season matchups, with the home team winning each game.
JCC won 80-66 in Jackson on Jan. 5, while the Arrows won 46-42 in Pipestone on Feb. 5.
In the first game at 6 p.m., St. James Area (16-8) faces Fairmont (13-13).
The top-seeded Saints got past eighth-seeded Windom 64-56 in overtime in the quarterfinals, while the fifth-seeded Cardinals were 64-52 winners over fourth-seeded Martin County West at Sherburn.
Thursday's winners are scheduled to play at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State University.
In the North Sub-Section Thursday at Willmar High School, top-seeded New London-Spicer plays fourth-seeded Redwood Valley (13-11) and second-seeded Minnewaska Area (18-8) meets third-seeded Morris/Chokio-Alberta (17-8).
Those winners are scheduled to play at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at SMSU.
The section championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, March 14 at SMSU.
