CC teams compete at Luverne

LUVERNE - Jackson County Central's cross country teams compete at the Bruce Gluf Classic Saturday.

The Huskies were third in a close meet. Luverne was first with 39 points, Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey second with 41 and JCC third with 42.

Jackson County Central did not have a complete girls team. Luverne was first with 16 points.

Mason Bobb led the Huskies, placing fourth out of 32 runners with a personal-record time of 18:33.

He was followed for JCC by Simon Pell (11th, 18:59), Andrew Boyum (12th, 19:08), Evan Paplow (13th, 19:24) and Kie Anderson (17th, 19:56).

The Huskies' lone runner in the varsity girls race was Olivia Anderson, who was fifth out of 25 runners runners in 21:14.

Jackson County Central's next meet is the Tri for Health/KKOJ Inviational Thursday, Sept. 19 at Loon Lake Golf Course.
